I like Pirelli STR tires on my Pan America,
But I have to change these every 7-8.000km and they are very noisy. Which tires, same class, have better longevity and are less noisy? I spend usually 20-30% on gravel roads, no hard offroad....

I usually run high-octane in my GS just to keep it running at its best, especially on long trips. But yeah, I’ve used lower octane when 100% gas wasn’t available — no issues so far. Just try to avoid ethanol-heavy blends if you can.

Do you have to run 100 percent gas high octane in it all the time? I have a yamaha fjr1300 and I do not have to. Cause some states do not have 100 percent.
